Curriculum Policy
In the Oizumi area where our school is located (our school/International Secondary Education School), we are continuing to research and develop a curriculum that combines the PYP (Primary Years Programme) and the curriculum guidelines in order to become a hub for International Baccalaureate education.
Our school’s curriculum encourages children to ask their own questions and think from various methods and angles. Then, through trial and error while designing your own learning method, you arrive at the formation of concepts that are not just knowledge but can be transferred to various situations. There is value in both the learning process and the final concept formation, and during this learning process, children demonstrate and develop their independence and inquisitiveness.
School life is full of events. Through various events, we interact with many people, experience successes and failures, and develop children’s rich hearts, strength, and soft intellect. Furthermore, through the various activities organized by the Seikatsu Group (vertically divided groups of different grades), children are able to support and learn from each other, transcending the boundaries of their grade level, and create their own creations using their own strengths.
With the slogans of “clean language,” “clean school,” and “a comfortable school/classroom for all,” we aim to cultivate children’s sense of self-affirmation and mutual affirmation in all of our educational activities, and to foster a rich spirit.
